I'll be a quick little writer cause I'm just using my friend's computer right now. I'm in Chartres staying with Charlotte Prejean, a friend from Millsaps. Chartres is about an hour outside of Paris. This town is so quaint and the perfect little French town... I love it. It reminds me a bit of living in Oxford, England. Everything you need is in walking distance. We're going to hop on the train in about an hour and go to Paris for the rest of the weekend. Our plans are the Musee d'Orsay, Rodin& Matisse Museum, Notre Dame, and lots of artsy and vintage shopping areas that have been suggested to both of us. Also there's a Mardi Gras parade on Sunday that we're going to check out, and we're going to eat fondue, and go to the Eiffel tower....! I'm so excited to be here. I'm not gonna lie, it was a super hassle getting here cause my flight was at 6am from London, but it's so worth it! It makes me nervous that I don't speak any French but ever since I met up with Charlotte it's been easy... I just stand behind her and say "Bonjour!" and "Merci!" haha.
Better go now though. Paris calling.
