Things I'm appreciating

Driving
American football
My family
The simplicity of a small city
No exchange rate

Familiar faces everywhere (sometimes)
It's like, July here
Hills

The dryer
The accents

Things I'm missing

Constantly meeting new people
Gypsy life
Pubs
Anonymity (sometimes)
Reading on the underground
Waterloo and Liverpool stations
My shoebox room
Coinage
Buskers
The accents

Back in Little Rock.

I'm back!

Back to Little Rock, and back to the blog. I've neglected it for some time while my life did a little switcharoo.

The most incredible thing about being back is that I feel like I never left. It's more like I had a funny dream last night where I lived in a big, beautiful, faraway land where nobody knew me and everybody spoke with silly accents and antiquated vocabulary.

Totally unbelievable.

I'm adjusting just fine. I keep looking the wrong way for cars, ordering white coffee, asking for the toilet and speaking in quid but other than that I'm back to Americana.
